Graphic Design + Marketing Jobs

I’m seeing a trend in 2025–26 where companies are calling Graphic Design jobs “Marketing Specialists” or “Marketing Interns”. Their main requirements are design skills in some form or another. I’m going to continue to watch this trend so my graduating students can expand their job-search net, and so we can continue to increase our graphic design students’ marketing knowledge and the consumer and business-driven strategies behind “why” they design their marketing material.

Graphic Design & Content Creation Specialist

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Design & Content Creation Specialist to support our visual and digital storytelling efforts. This role is ideal for someone passionate about design, branding, and content creation who wants hands-on experience creating engaging assets across digital and print platforms.”

Key Responsibilities

  • Design engaging social media graphics, flyers, and promotional materials for platforms including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, the company website, and print.
  • Create visual content that aligns with brand guidelines and supports marketing campaigns.
  • Assist in planning and preparing visual assets for scheduled social media content.
  • Support short-form video creation, including basic filming, editing, and motion graphics.
  • Assist with photography for events, campaigns, and brand content.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and execute creative concepts.
  • Help maintain visual consistency across all platforms and materials.
  • Conduct visual trend and competitor research to inspire content ideas.
  • Support email marketing efforts through layout and design assistance.
  • Assist with asset organization, file management, and project coordination.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong design skills with an eye for layout, typography, and color.
  • Proficiency in Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign; Premiere Pro or After Effects a plus).
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and visual content trends.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Creative, curious, and eager to learn in a collaborative environment.
  • Basic photography or video editing experience is a plus.
