Course Description: This comprehensive design course introduces students to the basic principles of marketing and how they relate to graphic design. Positioning, branding, and consumer behavior are major focuses of the course. Students gain experience designing marketing, advertising and promotional materials for a variety of products and services. This course will also emphasize innovative graphic problem solving and creative visual communication.
What you’ll hand in
You’ll complete four design projects in this class. My hope is that they will all be portfolio pieces and help you land your first job.
