When it comes time to present your marketing campaign, read through my example below and then rewrite it to fit your campaign and presentation. Reference your 2-page portfolio spread and the information you wrote below each marketing piece you designed to help you write this presentation.
Print it out and use it when you present. Try not to read it directly, but only reference it when needed.
Practice often and you’ll get better each time.
Hello, I’m ____________________. My marketing campaign is for an interior design agency named ___________________.
Their primary customer is a middle-aged DIYer who owns a home and wants to decorate it themselves but needs a little help turning their ideas into reality.
To reach this customer and let them know we’re here to help them bring their decorating dreams to life, I chose:
- A Social Media Graphic that showcases our work and is placed on Facebook and Instagram. The call to action is a button to visit our website and view our full portfolio. This is in the second stage of the marketing funnel because it informs them about our work as they decide whether we are right for them.
- An Email Blast that showcases our work and offers new clients 20% off their first project. The call to action is to click through to our website to set up a meeting. This is the third stage of the marketing funnel because the 20% off helps drive a conversion (setting up a meeting).
- A 2-sided flyer that showcases our work and includes a call to action asking viewers to scan a QR code that takes them to our online portfolio. This is in the second stage of the marketing funnel because it informs them about our work and helps them decide whether to hire us to decorate their home.
Thank you.
