Marketing Campaigns – Student Work

Here are several examples of student-designed marketing campaigns for a client of their choice.

Students create five things for this project:

  1. Brand & Marketing Strategy
  2. Marketing Plan & Timeline
  3. Logo and Brand Style Guide
  4. 2-4 pieces of marketing material, chosen to fit their clients’ needs
  5. 2-page spread for their portfolio

Students demonstrate their knowledge of the connection between their design work and the driving forces behind it, including marketing and brand strategy, the marketing plan and timeline, the four phases of a business launch, and the customer’s journey through the marketing funnel.

We want to show potential employers that students understand the “why” behind their designs and how their work helps solve clients’ problems and move customers through the marketing funnel.

Carrie B. Carrie designed an impressive marketing campaign for her real client. The client was supportive of her use of AI for marketing research, initial concepting, and mock-ups. However, they did not want her to use AI to do any of the actual/final design work.
