Sustainable Quote/Logo – Instructions

Overview

For this project, you’ll be designing a sustainable quote/logo for Western’s Sustainability Department.

This is part of Western’s ongoing campaign to promote sustainability. They print these quote logos on coffee mugs, keychains, and other swag.

Grading checklist

  • Design one sustainable quote/logo
    (stylized wording OR words and artwork)
  • Design in Illustrator with only vector linework (no photos)
  • Quote logo must be clear and legible when printed at 4″ x 4″
  • Only one color
  • Only your own original artwork (no redrawing another image)
  • Only solid vector shapes (no blends, shadows, blurs, etc.)
  • Only fonts from fontsquirrel.com or fonts on Western iMacs

Choose a Quote

Here are a few quote ideas for you to choose from. You may write your own, or find one already in use too.
