Signs – Green Living

These are real project my students did for our college’s sustainability dept. They wanted a series of signs that would help educate students on ways they can subtly introduce green living tips into their everyday lives. My graphic design students researched the United Nations Global Goals to use as inspiration for their signs. An on-site waste audit at our college served as inspiration for one sign. The college’s single-stream recycling program and food shelf inspired several others. I challenged my students to illustrate a tip that viewers could implement immediately—that day. They did a great job.

The signs are displayed and rotated around our campus on several Neon Leon frog signs seen below. The mascot draws a lot of attention around our campus.
